Anxiety Treatment
Anxiety can affect how you think, feel, make decisions, interact with others, and experience everyday life. I work with clients experiencing excessive worry, overthinking, perfectionism, fear, avoidance, people-pleasing, difficulty relaxing, self-doubt, and feeling constantly on
edge.
Using CBT and other evidence-based interventions, we'll work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand your triggers, strengthen coping skills, and develop healthier ways of responding to anxiety.

Athlete Mental Health
You can be talented, prepared, and disciplined, yet still struggle when it is time to perform. Performance anxiety can show up as fear of failure, perfectionism, self-doubt, pressure, difficulty recovering from mistakes, or loss of confidence.
As a former Division I collegiate basketball player, I understand the mental and emotional challenges that come with performance pressure. I provide therapy for athletes, student-athletes, former athletes, performers, and high-achieving individuals. Together, we work on strengthening your mental and emotional well-being while supporting both the person and the performer.

Christian Counseling
Your faith and mental health do not have to exist in separate spaces. Conquering Mountains Counseling was founded on Christian principles and the belief that faith can be an important part of healing.
For clients who desire Christian counseling, therapy can incorporate biblical principles, Scripture, prayer, and conversations about your relationship with God alongside evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Seeking therapy does not mean leaving your faith behind. It can provide a safe space to address emotional challenges while staying grounded in what you believe spiritually. Faith integration is always based on your preferences and treatment goals.

Trauma & Emotional Regulation
Past experiences can continue affecting the way you think, respond, connect with others, and experience emotions long after the experience itself has ended. Trauma-informed therapy provides a safe and supportive environment to better understand those patterns without judgment. I help clients develop greater awareness of emotional triggers, strengthen coping and grounding skills, challenge unhealthy patterns, establish boundaries, and learn healthier ways to regulate difficult emotions.
Treatment is individualized and may incorporate CBT, DBT-informed interventions, and trauma-informed approaches based on your needs.

Teen Anxiety Therapy
Adolescence comes with pressures that aren't always visible to the people around you. Academic expectations, sports, friendships, social media, family expectations, identity, relationships, and uncertainty about the future can contribute to significant anxiety. For some teens, that anxiety appears as excessive worry or panic. For others, it may look like irritability, withdrawal, perfectionism, procrastination, emotional outbursts, avoidance, or shutting down.
I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where teens can learn to understand their emotions, communicate more effectively, challenge anxious thinking, and develop healthy coping skills they can carry into adulthood.
